The results simultaneously drive brand sales and love. Helping us become WARC’s #1 Specialty Retail Agency with groundbreaking work recognized by Adweek, ANA Reggie Awards and Effies.

Job Description

A senior creative leader with deep CPG and commerce expertise, responsible for transforming brand platforms into innovative, award-worthy programs across key retail partners: Walmart, Amazon, Target, and Sam’s Club. This role sets the creative standard for how ideas show up where people actually shop.

Qualifications

  • Proven Creative Director–level experience on CPG brands
  • Hands‑on leadership across Walmart, Amazon, Target, and/or Sam’s Club
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating commerce-connected thinking, not just campaign concepts
  • Ability to navigate the nuances of different retailers while maintaining a cohesive brand story
  • Bonus: Effie or Reggie award‑winning work

Responsibilities

  • Lead creative development across major retail ecosystems, including Walmart, Amazon, Target, and Sam’s Club, translating brand platforms into retailer‑relevant programs and activations
  • Turn shopper insights into big organizing ideas that scale across retail touchpoints from in‑store to ecommerce to retail media
  • Elevate work from strategy → concept → system → execution, ensuring ideas are designed to perform in real commerce environments
  • Partner closely with Strategy, Business Leadership, and Retail Media teams to ensure creative ladders back to both brand and business objectives
  • Mentor and inspire creative teams, raising the bar for idea quality, storytelling, and craft
  • Elevate copywriting quality across the team by guiding work toward clarity, simplicity, and effectiveness in driving shopper decision-making
  • Lead and contribute to award submissions (Effies, Reggies), with a clear POV on what defines best‑in‑class commerce creativity
  • Champion and model expert, hands‑on use of AI creative tools to accelerate ideation and iteration while preserving originality and craft.
